With the purpose of lifting up Jesus Christ in all aspects of worship, the Fred Bock Institute of Music is committed to the following objectives:
- Fostering the creation and enhancement of music for worship
- Teaching the elements of effective worship leadership
- Encouraging excellence in the preparation and performance of music and in all aspects of worship
- Respecting the variety of styles in worship traditions
- Exploring and developing emerging and culturally diverse worship
- Facilitating the cultivation of positive relationships between ministry professionals and church musicians and artists
- Promoting ethical standards
